Perdition', is a short story podcast by Chris Herron at Tall Tale TV.
A plastic eating bacterium, invented to clean up waste, gets out of control and destroys modern technology. The world returns to the the Steam Age.
The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions.
I used this story as the prologue to my book 'The Steampunk Adventures of Harry Lampeter.' I couldn't write a Steampunk novel without explaining why the world had returned to Steam.
