With dear chums GEORGE CAMILLER (Mind Your Language), ANDY MERRIMAN (Hattie Jacques biographer), JAMES PERTWEE (David Croft comedies), and ROGER LEY (The Punch and Judy Man). Public Lending Rights

  A nice thing yesterday, an email from the Public Lending rights people telling me they're going to pay me some royalties for the four books I've got in Suffolk Libraries (UK). I checked the library service website and found that two of my books were quite popular last year. The stock team have decided to buy copies of my latest offerings, 'The Digital Meltdown' and 'A G I - Artificial General Intelligence' so I'm hoping for a slightly bigger cheque next year. If you're an author, consider getting in touch with your local library service.
